What We Believe

At Oak Lawn Bible Chapel you will find a congregation of Christians who hold to the doctrines of the Christian faith. We believe in God, the Creator of all things; in the Diety of Jesus Christ; His virgin birth; His substitutionary death for the sins of men and His bodily resurrection. We believe in the forgiveness of sins through the atoning work of Jesus Christ, and that all who believe become members of His church. We believe in His personal return to earth and in the final judgment of men before God. We believe in the eternal salvation of all who trust Jesus Christ for salvation, and in the unending punishment of the unbelieving. Also that the Bible itself is God’s inspired words to man today spoken through men of old.

Our purpose is to present Jesus Christ as the only Lord and Savior and as the hope of the world. Also to study the Bible that we might live by its teachings.
